Design has always come naturally to me. My mother used to tell me I was born with a pair of scissors in my hands, as I was often found cutting apart magazines and newspapers in order to rearrange the words and letters to create cards, cassette covers, and whatever else interested me as a child.

The true passion I have for my work lies within the challenge of designing something so that it is useful. While I appreciate art for art's sake, I am captivated by the thought process of figuring out how to make something work. Graphic design offers me the perfect combination of aesthetic and functional design, and I hope the enjoyment I receive from it is reflected in my work.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in Visual Design, focusing on Electronic Imaging. I have worked as a designer for several agencies in the Boston metropolitan area, including Planet Interactive, Agency.com, and Cramer. Some of the clients I've worked for at these companies include HP, Compaq, Novartis, Boston Museum of Science, Gillette, Banana Repulblic, Reuters, and many more.

By founding IdeaBuilder, I hope to form a one-on-one relationship with my clients. My goal is to provide a service that is both personal and professional. Please contact me if you are interested in knowing more about my work or the services I have to offer.

Sincerely,
Sharon Reiley
